Any type of change will be initially met with some type of resistance. The best way to combat this resistance and increase chances for success is to identify and develop a group that I refer to as the “early adopters.”

These capture videos are easy to create, can serve multiple audiences at once, and allow users to watch, pause, and stop the video as needed. Interactive language learning for second language acquisition emphasizes incorporating video, images, and text into the language instruction. The Department of Romance Languages created the FLRCVideos site as a way to merge these interactive components into the language curriculum. The custom-built solution took into account department organization, flexibility and privacy concerns.
